A picturesque coastal town in central Portugal, is known for its rich traditions and and carismatic people. It has also gained a reputation among surfers as a top destination for big wave surfing, with the famous "Canhão da Nazaré" producing record-breaking waves. In fact, in 2011, Garrett McNamara surfed the largest wave ever recorded, measuring a whopping 30 meters.
