General Conditions of Use

Licensing and Certification:

• Daytours holds a Travel Agency Organizer (Tour Operator) license number 10647 and a Tourism Entertainment license number 205/2013, issued by Turismo de Portugal.

• Licenses can be viewed on the Turismo de Portugal website or requested from Daytours.

Reviews and Quality:

• Daytours takes pride in the quality of its services, as evidenced by the positive reviews from its customers.

Security:

• Daytours tours are covered by mandatory insurance for the activity, including:

Tour Descriptions:

• The Daytours website (https:////daytours.pt/) offers detailed descriptions of each tour, including what is included.

• Items not mentioned in "The Tour Includes" are not covered by the tour price.

Specialized Guides:

• Guided tours with local specialized guides can be requested at the time of booking.

• Daytours guides have solid training and daily experience, providing an authentic and culturally enriching experience.

Minimum Age:

• There is no minimum age to participate in the tours.

• However, customers with children under 13 years of age must inform Daytours at the time of booking so that the appropriate safety equipment can be provided.

Private Tours:

• All Daytours tours and itineraries are private.

Vehicles:

• Tours are conducted in comfortable 7-seater Mercedes vans or 4-seater vehicles, depending on the size of the group.

Baby Seats:

• Baby seats must be requested at the time of booking or up to 48 hours before the tour.

Special Conditions:

• Passengers with special conditions must inform Daytours at the time of booking.

Personal Belongings:

• Daytours is not responsible for personal items or belongings left in vehicles or at passing points during the tour.

Delays:

• Daytours is not responsible for delays caused by traffic or weather conditions.

Smoking and Alcoholic Beverages:

• Smoking and alcoholic beverages are not permitted in vehicles.

• Stops for smoking or drinking can be made upon request from the customer, at the discretion of the guide and without compromising the progress of the tour.

Environment:

• Daytours is an environmentally friendly company and asks its customers not to litter from the windows of vehicles or at passing points.

Prices:

• All prices quoted include VAT.

Tour Inclusions:

• Guided tours of monuments in the chosen language (Portuguese, English or Spanish)

• Hotel/accommodation pick-up and drop-off

• Transportation in air-conditioned vehicle

• All mandatory insurances

• Wi-fi and water on board

• Parks, fuel and tolls

Tour Exclusions:

• Entrance tickets to monuments and museums

• Meals and drinks

• Personal expenses

• Gratuities

Reservations:

• All Daytours tours and itineraries require advance confirmation.

Payments:

• Full payment for the tour or itinerary must be made at the time of booking.

• Non-payment will result in cancellation of the tour.

Cancellations:

• Cancellations must be sent by email to info@daytours.pt, with the express indication of the tour to be canceled.

• Full refund for cancellations up to 7 days in advance.

• 50% refund for cancellations between 7 and 72 hours before the tour.

• Cancellations with less than 72 hours notice will not be refunded.
